Every year we put out a calendar, and every year
for the past 5 years we have donated portions
of our sales to the “Food Lifeline”.
September
of 2005 & 2006—
Sponsored the Chuck Semancik Memorial
Foundation for under privileged kids.
Summer
2006—
Sponsored the Just because Show
and shine that benefits ShareNet Food
Banks.
July
2005 & 2006—
Sponsored the Olympic Peninsula Porsche
Club Charity Show and Shine to help battered
women.
June
2003, 2004 & 2005—
Participated in the Taste of Tacoma
at Point Defiance Park. Our employees worked in
the extreme heat and never lost a smile.
August
2001, 2002, 2003, & 2004—
Sponsored the Christian Life Center Cruzin
Car Show. Donated our time and product
for the community. We served over 400 lattes before
11 am to all of the participants. We have been
invited back and are in early planning stages
for a bigger and even better year to come.
July
2004—
Participated as a sponsor and ran a booth at the
Bite of Seattle in Seattle Center.
December
2003—
Sponsored a Food Drive for the Kitsap
Community and donated over $1,000.00
worth of food for the needy. We also sponsored
a “Toys for Tots”
drive and donated boxes full of toys.
Winter
2003—
KZOK Radio, classic rock, invited
us to be one of the months on there barista calendar.
They sold over 12,000 copies of the calendars
with $2.00 of every calendar going to Child
Haven. Throughout the month of December
2003, the girls went on calendar signings sponsored
by KZOK and signed hundreds of calendars every
time.
July
2003—
Participated in Silverdale’s annual Whaling
Days, again spending countless hours
preparing in order to give back.
On
April 20, 2002—
Invited and sponsored the NFL Draft Party
at the Seahawks headquarters. All of the proceeds
from this event went to the Seahawk Academy
that helps underprivileged kids.
On
September 14, 15, and 16th, 2001—
Donated all of our proceeds to the American
Red Cross in relation to the September
11th catastrophe. We were able to get Fred Meyers
to donate 50 dozen donuts and 15 dozen cookies
that we gave away, and we ended up raising over
a thousand dollars for the American Red Cross.
May
5, 2001—
Sponsored the MDA Walkathon.
Donated all of the coffee and supplies, and assisted
with the event. We have been invited back and
look forward to another year.
